Its fine texture allows you to apply silica gel dust in cracks and crevices where bed bugs go to hide until they emerge late at night. Silica gel dust will then dehydrate the bug on contact without the need for ingestion. When it comes to preserving flowers, silica gel dust is an excellent drying agent for keeping your favorite flowers looking as beautiful as they originally were to begin with. Silica gel dusts’ sand-like texture gets in between the petals and draws out moisture to help retain its natural colors and shape. Silica gel desiccant is a non-toxic, non-flammable, and chemically inactive drying agent that adsorbs forty percent of its weight in moisture. Every single gel bead contains millions of surface pores that magically soak up water vapor. Our Dry-Packs Silica Gel Desiccant do not contain Cobalt Chloride (II) (Indicating Silica Gel that is blue in color has been linked as a possible carcinogenic to humans) and we offer a safer and equally effective alternative.
